Acrobatic graphic design
The concept
We used balance and imbalance through geometrical forms counterbalanced by organic materials, and images whose purity and sobriety contrast with the bold colors. This acrobatic graphic design reflects the main focus of the Monfort’s program: contemporary circus.
The form
We chose the square as the design matrix. This static element is applied in solid black or red. Photographs of bodies in motion – echoing the “living” arts performed at the Monfort – and textured pictorial forms, designed by hand, sit side by side with the digital geometrical form in softer colors, predominantly shades of gray.
