Fragments of the past
The concept
Our communication solutions echo the Préau’s dual management team: a writer and an actor set the artistic course, in a desire for proximity to the Normandy landscape and the inhabitants of Vire. We have chosen to incorporate them into the communication strategy of their Theater; we draw from the past, gathering memories and documenting the history of the structure as well as that of its inhabitants: the alliance of these ideas gives rise to the Préau project, a Theater at the heart of its people.
The form
The logo and typography mix characters and punctuation to illustrate the theater’s dual management. Vintage black and white photographs gathered from Vire’s inhabitants are manipulated graphically and integrated into the communication materials. These fragments of the past, in predominantly fluorescent colors, tie in with the Préau’s program.
