Multiplying horizons

 

The concept

To create the graphic identity of Le Grand R, we multiplied the patterns, details, shapes, colors, mediums. Inspired by the Dadaists, we wanted to produce a vivid image. Like them, we sought to be “mystics of detail, tappers and clairvoyants”. We have created a dream landscape in Technicolor, extravagant, free, lyrical, both empty and full, which multiplies the possible spaces and horizons. Vast, it invites contemplation, breathing, and echoes the name of the Scène nationale; its abundance and saturation of colors illustrate the richness of the proposals of Le Grand R.

The form

The landscape is a montage made from multiple photographs. The logo, from the previous visual identity, is revisited. It plays on the ellipse and the highlighting of the shadow: this surface integrates a material from the season poster. The logo thus becomes a visual element in its own right, a signature with multiple variations.
