Artistic director, graphic designer, visual artist
Jeanne Roualet is a graphic designer, visual artist and artistic director of the graphic design and visual arts Atelier, Cosmogama, founded with communication specialist Camille Dubois and writer-director Fabrice Melquiot.
She began her career at 22 by designing the visual identities of the Centre Dramatique National de Normandie-Vire and the Monfort Théâtre in Paris.
She has since worked with numerous clients in France and Switzerland, mainly in the cultural field: the Antigel Festival in Geneva, the Paris l’Été Festival, the Comédie de Béthune, the BNP Paribas Foundation, Les Quinconces–L’espal – Le Mans National Theater, Le Bateau Feu – Dunkirk National Theater, the Dôme Théâtre in Albertville, the Centre Dramatique National de Poitiers, the Théâtre in Privas, the Maison d’Izieu – deportation memorial, La Joie de Lire in Geneva, L’Arche Éditeur in Paris, etc.
As a visual artist who prides herself on her artisanal approach combined with a mastery of digital techniques, she has held several exhibitions of Cosmoramas (at Les Quinconces–L’espal – Le Mans National Theater, at the Centre Dramatique National de Poitiers, at the La Praille Mall and Leisure Center in Geneva, at the Am Stram Gram Theater in Geneva etc.): large-format frescoes in black and white, timeless and other-worldly, in which dreamlike images transform reality into a playful and haunted game of mirrors.
Collaborator and artistic advisor, coordinator
Camille Dubois holds an associate degree in audiovisual production, a bachelor’s and master’s degree in cultural project management, as well as a master’s degree in arts, literature and languages majoring in communication. She was head of communication and cultural outreach for the Archipel Festival in Geneva, communication and media for La Bâtie-Festival de Genève, for the Am Stram Gram Theater in Geneva and for the association La Marmite.
She has also worked with the Théâtre Forum Meyrin, Les Urbaines in Lausanne and the Comédie de Genève.
She is a founding member of Cosmogama, along with graphic designer and visual artist Jeanne Roualet and writer and director Fabrice Melquiot.
Artistic advisor and coordinator of the graphic design and visual arts Studio, she is also artistic collaborator and coordinator for projects by Cosmogama, the creative Atelier designing and producing multidisciplinary artistic experiences.
Artistic director, writer, director, performer
Fabrice Melquiot is a writer, director, performer and lyricist. He is prolific, having published some sixty plays (L’Arche Éditeur and l’école des loisirs), graphic novels (Gallimard and L’Élan Vert) and poetry collections (L’Arche and Le Castor Astral).
He has been involved with several theaters and companies – the Comédie de Reims, the Scènes du Jura, the Centre Dramatique National de Vire, the Théâtre du Centaure in Marseille, the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, among others – and has collaborated with many directors including Emmanuel Demarcy-Mota, Paul Desveaux, Mariama Sylla, Roland Auzet, Dominique Catton, Arnaud Meunier, Pascale Daniel-Lacombe, Stanislas Nordey, Marion Lévy, Patrice Douchet, Ambra Senatore, Matthieu Roy, Matthieu Cruciani, Jean-Baptiste André and Joan Mompart.
Today he is one of the most performed and translated writers of contemporary French theater.
His work has received many awards: Grand Prix Paul Gilson from the Communauté des Radios Publiques de Langue Française; SACD prize for the best radio play; Prix Jean-Jacques Gauthier from Le Figaro; Prix Jeune Théâtre from the Académie Française for the entire body of his work; Theatrical Revelation and Best Creation of a Play in French from the Syndicat National de la Critique; the Sarrebruck Festival Primeurs Award; Deutscher Kindertheaterpreis etc.
From 2012 to 2021, he was director of Théâtre Am Stram Gram in Geneva, an international creative center for children and young people.
He is a founding member and artistic director of Cosmogama, creative and production Atelier designing multidisciplinary artistic experiences, along with graphic designer and visual artist Jeanne Roualet and Camille Dubois, communication specialist and artistic collaborator.
