Théâtre du Peuple

Since 2018

Interpreting the uniqueness of a space

The concept

The Théâtre du Peuple’s unique feature is to have a stage backdrop that opens onto a forest, a scenic effect incorporated into all in situ productions. Echoing this unique set up, the visuals gives pride of place to nature, and more particularly a wildlife presence with figures that are unexpected, dynamic and wild.

The form

The image is constructed in the same way over the seasons: a square logo is placed on a slightly textured colored background. An undulating typography is used, in reference to the Vosges Mountains, home to the Theater. This basic configuration is “disrupted” by the inclusion of an animal randomly placed on the visual and different each year. The animal in black and white stands out from the background and becomes the central element.
